45 days in Turkey, Greece, Albania and Macedonia
(2009-08-12)

It was indeed a travel much different from the previous ones. At no single moment was there rush or counting kilometers. Nevertheless, during these almost seven weeks we saw much more than we could have dreamt of.

We started in Istanbul (Turkey), then we headed for the coast of the Aegan Sea. We explored several Greek islands as thoroughly as possible: Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Ikaria, Naxos, Paros, Andiparos, Eubeja (Evvia). We visited marvelous Metora and through Albania cycled to Ohrid (Macedonia) where our 2009 bicycle travel found its end. The pictures and some notes coming soon...

Operation "Nordkapp" completed!
(2008-08-15)

After 47 days and over 4600 kilometers we are again in Poland. We started in Trondheim and along the Road "17" we cycled for Bodo. Our next targets were magnificent islands: Lofoten, Vesteralen and Senja. Back on the land again, we took the main road north - to the North Cape. From there our road back home began. We travelled through Nordkinn Peninsula and left Norway at Tana River. The part via Finland was tough, mostly due to zillions species of fierce flying insects. Somehow we managed to survive and from Helsinki took a ferry to Tallin. From the capital of Estonia we headed for beautiful Islands: Saaremaa and Hiuumaa which are true gems of this part of Europe. Here you can find out more about the travel.

Archives: Pictures from 1999 - the Mazurian Lakes by bike
(2008-06-21)

After a longer break we were on track again. This time the trip was short, though. During 7 days, however, we cycled through quite a large part of the land of the Mazurian Lakes. A few pictures from the trip you'll now find in the Gallery.

Archives: Pictures from 1996 - the Mazurian Lakes and the Baltic Sea coast
(2008-05-15)

In 1996 we started our trip in Olsztyn and from the land of the Mazurian Lakes we cycled along the coast of the Baltic Sea. After 10 days and 973 kilometers we reached Swinoujscie and returned to Zakopane by train.

Archives: Pictures from the 1995 travel - "Across Poland in 13 days"
(2008-05-10)

In 1995 we cycled from Zakopane to the coast of the Baltic Sea and then returned to the Tatra Mountains (on our bicycles naturally). Within 13 days we covered 2126 km. Now, in the Gallery you can see the pictures from that travel. Unfortunately the photographic material is incomplete... Hopefully we'll find the missing pics some day.
